McKenna Boyd Solicitors were formed on the 14th January 2000 by Dennis Boyd LL.B and Alexis McKenna LL.B.

Both partners had ten year backgrounds working for a large city centre law firm in Belfast and their respective legal expertise lay in the areas of Criminal Law, Litigation and Family Law work.

The firm, from its inception, offered a wide range of legal services including representing and advising clients in all areas of legal aid work, including Police Station Representation, Criminal and Family Law work and Plaintiff Litigation.

In March 2002, Analise Dougan joined the legal staff thereby broadening the range of legal work undertaken by the firm, by specialising in the areas of property and conveyancing work in addition to offering a probate and administration of estates service.

The fully - computerised, forward thinking firm continues to be based in a thriving and busy modern three storey office building situated just 15 minutes walk from the heart of Belfast City Centre and is open from 9.00am - 5.00pm, 5 days a week. However, a senior member of the legal staff can be contacted 24 hours a day 7 days a week by means of a specialist paging system.
